This past weekend Landry went to Sayler's birthday party at Build A Bear Workshop. It was her first time there and she did great. They all were very good listeners (most of the time Landry listens better than Cole...) She picked a pink bear with white hearts and dressed it in a jean skirt and summer tank. The girls had fun making their bears.

Cole's newest obession is his age... or I should say his next age. If you ask him how old he is he'll tell you he's going to be 6. (Even though his birthday isn't till the end of August.) And he's always asking - "when Landry's 5 how old will I be?" He's also learning to add in school so he's always quizing me. Mom - what's 100 plus 100? I keep telling him I'm the one that is suppose to be quizing him!
Today Cole, Kyle, and McKenna are finger painting in our storage room. I figured that was the safest place for finger paints right now....




Landry is fighting a head cold, she's been pretty low key the past few days I hope she feels better soon!

Growing Up...

This weekend we turned Landry's crib into her toddler bed. I told her this was her "big girl bed". About 1/2 hour later she told me she was tired and going to go to bed - and proceeded to go upstairs to her room. A few minutes later I grabbed my camera to see what she was up too and found her practicing her gymnastic skills. One in particular - the balance beam...

Class of 2023!
I went to a kindergarten meeting last week and the principal announced - this is the Class of 2023! WOW! My baby is growing up too fast and I hate it!
I took Landry's 2 year photos early and figured I should take Cole's while I was at it. He's much easier anyway and I knew it would only take a few frames for him. Here is my baby at 5 1/2 years old!

Last Friday was "Red Day" at school. So before Cole, Kyle, and Kenna headed off I snapped a few pictures of the red gang. I decided that it would be cute if Landry joined in and she was happy too! Cole on the other who is usually my photogenic one was not in the mood and refused to smile... Cute little bunch!


Landry is turning into quite the girly girly as I had hoped. She found my stash of purses in the back of the closet one night and pulled them out. I found her with literally every purse hanging from her body. You'll notice one around her neck... I guess she had to improvise... she is something else thats all I will say.
Some of her favorite sayings right now are: NO! I do it myself! "Wake Up sithead" (which sounds exactly like...Wake Up Shithead! - It is hilarious!)
She is putting sentences together almost too well - she amazes me everyday.

Cole is starting to go a little crazy with the winter weather. He said he's tired of the snow and cold and he wants it to be warm outside. Join the gang kid - we all do! He even passed on sledding on Saturday - what?! I think he's losing it! He did get outside for a good part of the day yesterday with his friends so that was nice.
