Our mini vacation ro Minneapolis!

Grandpa Terry was very brave and invited all of us to Minneapolis for a mini Spring Break get-a-way. 7 kids & 5 adults. We did a lot of running and chasing but had a great time. We jammed a lot of activities into 3 days. We spent 2 days at the indoor Water Park (Water Park of American, which is where we stayed.) We hit the mall, and the Aquarium, Arcade, American Girl store, and of course ice cream. The kids had a blast even through our night time adventure. You see the fire alarm decided to go off in the middle of the night forcing us all to evacuate the hotel into the cold outside. Luckily it wasn't bitterly cold. Still it was in the middle of the night - we were all half awake with 7 kids wondering "what the heck is happening." Once we were allowed back into the hotel we got everyone settled again. Only for Landry to fall out of bed onto a flooded floor. Apparently a sprinkler head had broken (which caused the fire alarm to go off) and it was leaking right under our room. So the next day we switched hotel rooms and hoped for no more excitement!
Until next time...

Landry's 3rd Birthday Party!

Landry wanted a "Rock Star" birthday party. We had Daniel Poe from Creations With A Twist come. We had him come to Cole's 5th bithday and he was a huge hit. I highly recommend him for parties! (www.Creationswithatwist.com)

My Ribbon Cutting!

I have such AWESOME supporters AND I live in the best community! I wasn't sure what to expect at this ribbon cutting and I was blown away by the number of people that came. Not only my family & best friends, but other business owners and community leaders. This is going to be another unbelievable year I just know it! Thanks to everyone!

My kids!

Landry

May the force be with you.... and it helps if you wear underwear along the way!
Landry is always trying to make people laugh. And she seems to know exactly what to do to get us going.
I have lots to catch up on! So I'll start with Cole's Valentine's Day Breakfast at school. The parents got to come to school and watch the kids open all their Valentine's treats and then we all went to a breakfast in the cafeteria.

Cole's AWESOME teacher Miss. Erickson!

After the kids Valentine's activities Mommy & Daddy got to celebrate. We headed out for an early dinner at Sam & Gabe's and then to the Tim McGraw/ & Lady Antebellum concert at Wells Fargo Arena. It was great - until we came out afterwards to major snow falling. I was freaking out the whole way home - the roads were really bad! But we made it safe and sound... white knuckles and all!

A Little Valentine's Day Fun!

A little something.

Landry's favorite thing to do in the bath tub these days... hair sculpture. I hope this isn't a pre-cursor of things to come!

MY STUDIO!

It's official - the studio is ready to go! BRING IT ON!
Despite the frigid temps my loyal clients, family, and friends braved the cold to support me in my new endeavor. Thanks to everyone who sent flowers (it looked like a florist store by the way!), gave me cards, and came to the open house. I appreciate every ones support during this exciting time. Now let's fill up this studio!

A special thanks to my parents who helped me shop, shop, and OH SHOP! They also spent time helping me put the studio together over Christmas time. Thank god for moms!
Also to the Vermillion Group, Grove & Platt Dental Associates, The Sump Family, Karen Glasgow, Terry - Laura - Piper - and Griffin, The Knief Family, Jon Cahill, The Waglers, and my parents for all the gifts I received at the open house.
Just a few photos from the night!

MY FABULOUS HELPERS! COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT THEM! Michelle, Jamie, and Kelly! (They not only helped during the open house - but are HUGE supporters of me and my family!) I love you guys!

Little Finnean - who has been to see me MANY times - I even photographed him before he was even born. My first prego belly shoot!

And his extremely supportive parents! Congrats to Courtney and her new business Bare Root Designs! AWESOME jewelry at super reasonable price. Check them out www.barerootdesigns.com
